PRP – Clinical Membership
Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) Therapy
Clinical Maintenance Therapy. Monthly injections at a membership rate. Platelet Rich Plasma, or PRP, is the component of the blood that aids in healing and stimulating growth. PRP is isolated by drawing a patient’s blood, then spinning it down in a centrifuge to process it properly and isolate it from the red and white blood cells. The PRP is then injected into the scalp and/or spread topically over the area of hair restoration immediately after a hair restoration procedure.
PRP is a Quick Procedure
PRP has been shown to thicken up thin, miniaturized hairs, as well as speed up recovery and growth of transplanted hairs. PRP not only helps with the healing process, but the platelets in the PRP release vital growth factors which act as strong fertilizer for growth of regular as well as transplanted hairs. PRP is a quick procedure and relatively painless. Patients can drive themselves to home and it typically takes about 30 minutes per treatment.
PRP does not substitute for hair restoration and it is best when combined with ARTAS robotic hair restoration. It can thicken up thin hairs, as well as speed up the growth of transplanted hairs and reduce the risk of shock loss (the temporary loss of hair after a hair restoration procedure). Membership rates are $399/mo with a one time $899 initiation fee (waived if enrolled alongside an ARTAS Robotic Restoration Procedure).
